As a member in Rotary, your dedication to service helps make our work possible. This World Polio Day, we’re relying on people like you to lead the way as we keep working to provide critical funding for vaccination campaigns, public awareness initiatives, and health care infrastructure.
With our supporters, partners, and leaders, we’ve helped immunize more than 3 billion children against polio in 122 countries, and we won’t stop until we end the disease for good.
In preparation for World Polio Day on 24 October, please get involved and encourage other members to do so as well. You can:
By raising awareness and funds on World Polio Day, we can protect children in communities around the world so that they never again suffer the paralyzing effects of this disease. We must remain vigilant and continue our work to immunize up to 400 million children each year. Until polio is eradicated from the world, it remains a threat to children everywhere.
