As your next Club President, I am dedicated to continuing the remarkable journey of our relatively new club. My priorities are: continue the growth of our club, increase member particpation through active outreach to all members, maximize our impact on our community, build the DMS image as a dynamic group of community servants, and have a lot of fun doing it. I welcome your participation, new ideas, and constructive criticism. Let's not be strangers!

Our DMS Club members voted awards to a few members of the club in recognition of their service and dedication to DMS. Thse awards are: Darth Huimor-Rich, The Hidden Gem-Ray, The Helping hand-Deb, The Social Bee-Brianna, Most Couragious Smile/Laugh-Nicole, New Shining Star-Judy, Rotarian of the Year-Nicole. When you next meet them, please congratulate them!

A small group of our DMS team met at the Ronald M cDonald House to prepare and serve dinner for 43 families. We got it all done in 2 hours with a lot of fun and a little mess. We were kept entertained by Rich and his cellphone music. The families were greatful and the chef was great to work with. We were told that they would love to have us back at any time. (Even Rich too)

Our Epic Day of Service was a complete success: we attracted volunteers from other Clubs, we completed stuffing 1,000 backpacks with food and raised $4,000 for the Backpack Society. 50 people had fun and made a major contribution to our community!

It's that time of year for our club officers to rotate. Brianna became Past President, Dave to Club President and Nicole to President Elect. We had a great turnout of members which included 3 members of the Auraria Rotoract Club which we sponsor. (They are the young people in the first row) 

Our new trio will collaborate to help you make DMS the best club in the district. We were ther last year, so let's do it again! 

Our annual and one of our biggest events is the IFCS Holiday Food Drive. PLEASE PLAN ON YOUR CALENDAR for: bag making Sunday 10/13, bag distribution Friday 10/18, bag pick up Tuesday 10/22.
