On September 11, our club proudly participated once again as sponsors and volunteers at the inspiring Girls With Books Gala — an annual celebration of education, empowerment, and community impact. 🌍💪
Each year, our members dedicate the day to service by helping with attendee check-in and check-out, assisting with the sale of beautiful local items, and supporting the event’s mission to create opportunities for girls through literacy and education. 💛
This year’s Gala was especially meaningful as District 5450 received a special recognition for its continued partnership and support of Girls With Books. We were honored to celebrate alongside amazing District leaders — Past District Governor Tamie, District Governor Cindy Rold, and District Governor Elect Cindy Chase — whose leadership continues to inspire us all. 👏
The evening was a beautiful reflection of what Rotary stands for: service, fellowship, and lasting impact. We’re grateful to be part of this cause year after year — and we’re already looking forward to next year’s Gala! ✨
