Before we gather on March 10 to hear Dr. Hall speak about the health system in Honduras, I want you to see something powerful:

This is what we are making possible.

In case you didn’t know, the Foundation of our club is supporting a project in Honduras at the San Jorge Health Center — and this one is especially meaningful.

Through our District Grant, Denver Metro South Rotary is fully funding critical improvements at UAPS San Jorge, a primary health center serving 13,841 people across 18 communities in El Progreso, Yoro, Honduras.

Every single day, nearly 150 patients walk through its doors.

And the facility currently operates with just one physician and one nurse.

This is not a shared grant.
This is not partial funding.

This is 100% Denver Metro South Rotary.

This project also hits close to my heart — because Honduras is my country. Being able to connect our club’s leadership, generosity, and service to the community where I was born is deeply personal and incredibly meaningful to me.

When Dr. Hall joins us on March 10, you won’t just be learning about healthcare challenges in Honduras — you’ll understand the system we are directly strengthening.

You’ll see how Rotary Reimagined becomes Rotary in Action.

I encourage you to attend, ask questions, and come ready to think about what deeper international engagement could look like for our club — especially as our Visioning process highlighted a strong desire to lead a Global Grant in the future.
